Gujarat: Big blow to Congress before Rahul's Nyay Yatra reaches Gujarat, MLA Modhwadia joins BJP

Apart from Arjun Modhwadia, two former Congress MLAs joined the BJP on Tuesday.

Arjun Modhwadia, a prominent leader of the Congress in Gujarat, has now become a part of the BJP. Modhwadia joined the BJP on Tuesday itself. Along with him, two more big faces of Congress joined the BJP. These also include former MLAs Ambrish Dher and Mulubhai Kanderiya.

It is noteworthy that these leaders of Gujarat have resigned from Congress when Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is going to reach Gujarat in a few days.

It is said that Modhwadia, who was associated with the party for almost 40 years, was hurt by the party leadership's rejection of the invitation to the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony. Modhwadia has also been the former president of the Gujarat Congress. He was currently the Congress MLA from Porbandar.
